Jenny Lind 32 Inch Five Brass Band Trunk

Jenny Lind five brass band trunk. This is 32 wide and 18 inches tall, rather large for a this style of trunk. This was given to my daughter by her grandmother about 20 years ago. It was at the foot of her bed so it has scuff marks from being in a kids room and her dog viewed it as a step stool. It needs some TLC to hide the scratch marks, the bands need to be cleaned and some nail heads have been lost over the years so need to replace those.

My mother loved adding wall paper to her trunks to give them a cleaner look. I prefer the natural wood so it is time for it to go. I've started working on it, removed the paper from the original tray now onto the lid compartment.

My daughter moved out a few years okay and took some of her trunks with her, but like all trunk lovers she doesn't have space for all of them. So for now this stays in her old room until she gets a larger place.
