I found these beautiful watercolors at Volunteer's of America this morning. The paintings are actually 8" x 12". Nicely matted and framed they measure 13" x 17". They are by (N.) Nicolas Bermudez. Signed in the lower right corner and titled in Spanish. The closest I can translate the titles to are..."Balcony of the Painters" and " The Brown or Overcast Alley" both in the village of Albay(i)cin (Old Arab Quarter) in Granada Spain. It comprises approximately the area between the hill of the Alhambra, the hill of San Cristobal, the Sacromonte and Elvira. He is a listed artist on the "Askart.com" website with auction records and other samples of his work. There isn't any bio on him though and the prices for his auctioned works are hidden unless you are subscription member. Not worth it for me, but then there is nothing else online that I could find out about the artist. So it will remain a mystery as to what these might be worth for now. My gallery is growing by leaps and bounds. -Mike-
Very nice find Mike! And a GREAT addition to your collection.
I love these scenes of Spanish villages Mike! They bring back memories of our years in Zaragoza, Spain! :-)
Thanks so much Scott and Rick for the "loves" and comments. :)
Hello,
Here is a link if you want to see an auction for him.

Thanks so much Matisse for the link. That's a very large work as well compared to these which are about a third of that. So maybe a third of the price as well. Something to go on though. :) -Mike-
One more mike.
Well...not if I keep deleting old posts Caper...lol. Some things I don't own anymore so I figure why keep them. That way I can still post and save my 1000th . Still searching for an ultra-special piece for that spot. :)
These are cool mike. Makes me want to be there. Right there.!!
Very nice to look at. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks One :)...they are very nicely done little watercolors. Although rather small compared to his typical works which are usually larger 24" x 36".
