katherines…

So this tea cup is very sheer eggshell porcelain, has six panels that bulge out and painted floral decor. 3" x 6". It has raised elements, the cup is all hand painted, including gold trim, and unusual handles. Does anyone recognize this type of tea service? Any information greatly appreciated. I hope you enjoyed seeing this tea cup, and thanks for looking.
How unusually beautiful Katherine....It has a very Nippon look to me. The raised enamel beads and the floral panels are very Japanese. The whole set would have looked amazing. Sometimes only the larger pieces like the teapot were marked within a set and not the cups and saucers.
So unusual and beautiful, absolutely lovely !

Thanks, Mike, yes, I too think it is Japanese, perhaps one of our friends here will be able to offer some information on what this style is called. Looks like Easter Eggs! :))
Thanks, Thomas, it is unique, although I seem to recall seeing this style before somewhere. You have a good and peaceful Sunday as well. :)
Thanks, kyratango, what a lovely compliment, greatly appreciated, my friend. :)

Beautiful, and love the shape and feet!
Thanks for the love, LuluX, and your compliment. :) The feet are fairly common but those egg shape protrusions are hard to find. :/
