I picked this up at a local church show, I thought it was cool and I loved the color. The problem is I'm not sure what it is! It's a hair under 10 1/2' tall, 5 3/4 wide and 3 3/8 deep. The top is ceramic, and the reddish orange color is a badly perished rubber gasket. I cannot find a mark on it anywhere. The inside smells faintly, but I can't tell what it might be. The closest match I could find was a WW I British canteen. If anyone has a clue what this might be for, I'd greatly appreciate knowing!
Thanks to eye4beauty, I came up with the solution. It's a 1930s water bottle!
Interesting ... Did you see a similar one with the BK label ?
