    The is a Large oblong approx 6 1/2 cm silver Amethyst brooch.
    This brooch is full of leaves berries set with a large faceted oval amethyst in a bezel surround in the middle of the brooch. It has Bernard Instone written all over it, of course there are no hallmarks, but in my opinion it is Instones work. It does have a C clasp so could be his earlier work, but I think it was probably made during the 1930s.

      Hi Celiene, thanks so much for your lovely comment. No this stone doesn't change colour, but the Amethyst on photos does seem to change colour I think it's probably from the faceted cut.
