That is an amazing cloisonne snuff bottle. I am not sure if it is Chinese or Japanese.
I really hope our cloisonne people see this and comment!
We don't give values here but you should be able to search auction house results to get an idea.
Hi-thx for the response. Yes there is an opening under internal cap. It is about 1.5 inches tall and 1.25 inches wide.

Great-do you have any idea if the age? I saw one that was a lot like and they thought 1850-1899?

I have this very same bottle! I saw it in an antique store about 26 years ago when I was only 14 and just had to have it. My aunt bought it for me at $14. I've always been intrigued about where it came from and fascinated by the intricate scenery. would love to know if you found out anything else about it. I've been searching keywords online for a few years and nothing until I came across your post.
