You can see the gold where the pain has worn away , I tested it and it tests positive for over 22 kt I don't understand Japanese so I don't know what the writing on the bottom says. I would like to know how much this is worth. It is 10 inches high by 5 inches across It also has gold trim in the hand paintings. and gold lines throughout inside also.

Very pretty! No appraisers on this site, but certainly someone may be able to guide you in your research to find out more about it! Someone should come along soon, hopefully, that can help you. Welcome to CW!

Gold leaf paint is commonly found on porcelain items. The crackle glaze is created, not a natural occurrence over time as with vintage or antique ceramic pieces. A paper label in English - Made in Japan - means this is an export piece.
