So this vase is heavy as all get out, I guess there are several layers of glass in there, including the clear one on the outside. 12". I couldn't track down the signed initials on the base, maybe HB? The H looks exactly like Handel, but he didn't make glass that looked like this. I've searched several glass databases, no luck. If any of you recognize the signature, please share what you know. I hope you enjoyed seeing this vase, and thanks for looking.

It keeps reminding me of an Altaglass vase I have. I think I'm way off though.

Karen, no need to be afeared, my friend, I'm always open to hearing opinions even if others don't agree. I'm so glad you like it. It's quite a beautiful and dramatic vase, I think, but of course, I'm biased, lol. :)

Collectomaniac, it's the signature on my vase that's been driving me mad. ;)

It kinda looks like the initials LLB with a date of April 01 2004. I see at least 9 people that could have the initials LB on GAS. I'd hate to send you on a wild goose chase though. http://www.glassart.org/cgi/page.cgi?char=B&_id=1433

Thank you, Collectomaniac, for that link, I tried both HB and LB, at your suggestion, no joy. Think this one will crack me. :/

I've tried to read it forwards and backwards with no luck. I don't want you to completely mad so just send it to me. My address is: :0)
