VERY ROUGH VINTAGE BOEING X-20 DYNA-SOAR USAF ART PRINT DRAWING POSTER ARTIST CONCEPTION. I picked this up at an estate sale in Dallas. I was going through a stack of posters, they had a new poster was taped over this. The poster is in very rough condition it is mounted to a art board. Tack holes in the corner, water damage, pop marks and scraps. It's a great graphic of and astronaut with the Air Force emblem on his helmet proudly displayed. Looking at the astronaut the patch on his right shoulder looks like The Mercury emblem. This had to have been done in the late 50s early 60s. The Boeing X-20 Dyna-Soar program was scrapped just as they started to construct it. In 1962
The poster measures 24in x 20
I'm not sure if this was something put out by Boeing or if this was used as a display at NASA or a Story Board. Artist signature looks like ( McGill)
If you know anything about it and would like to comment I'd like to hear from you.
UPDATE : The Artist is Robert McCall
McCall was a monster. Great artist and a super find.
