Its an immaculate Omega "pie pan" Constellation with the highly sought after no-date 551 movement. This is important because vintage watches are smaller than todays watches so all the real estate on the dial is valuable. Most guys don't want it cluttered up with a date function on a watch like this.
So what else makes this so special? Well there's the little issue of an original unrestored yet pristine dial and hands. Thats right I'll say it again. O.R.I.G.I.N.A.L
Thats all well and good right?... but what about the heart of the watch, its movement? In this case its an Omega 551 that has been restored, probably beyond what the factory was doing in 1967 by self proclaimed "Omega Addict" Tim Mackrain, one of the best in the business. Timed to COSC specs! Just take a look. Drooling allowed and encouraged.
Lastly, there is the bracelet. This watch would have come with a nice standard leather band from Omega. An option in 1967 that was only available thru an Authorized Omega dealer is this genuine Omega "Beads of Rice" bracelet.
I love this very much!!!
It is well worth it and the movement is stunning!!
Congrats!!!!!!! Great watch
