My newest piece. When I saw this, I fell in love. I've never seen one like this before. Has a polished bottom. How the three pieces are attached to each other says to me that it was made by a very accomplished craftsman. I am very interested in comment on this piece. I would be very interested in ideas about the process to make the white and red feathers, also the seamless transition from black to white/red is outstanding, not to mention how well the base attaches to the body. Thanks for stopping by.
Easy to see why you fell for this one. Lovely!
gorgeous !! love it
Lovely!
Wow - some work in this Dean.
I don't know how they make that scale like pattern.....clever.
Even the sommerso is complex.
A skilled artist yet I am not sure where from. It doesn't have a Murano feel to me but you know Murano is not my specialty so I am likely wrong.
I can see why you fell for this!
Thanks Karen, I don't think you understand just how deep your knowledge is. I am surprised at your suggestion that it may not be Murano, only because I thought they had the market cornered with this type work. If not them, then who. I can't wait for a certain gentleman to opine. So much to learn about this piece, I can't wait. Thanks for the kind words.

Deano, great find, love it.....
Not sure about Murano, the base have something uncommon, but i am born glass collector less than a year ago, so, don't take it wrong, i could be wrong.
Regards
Alan
Thank you Brunswick.
Hi Alan, I listed it as Murano for lack of a better idea. I sure hope I get a better idea from one of the more knowledgeable participants. (kinda counting on it) Thanks for the input, stay tuned, maybe the mystery will get solved. thanks.

Thank you Nicefice for the Very Nice Comment. I'm glad you like the bird.
How did I miss this ,beautiful Deano.
Reality Strikes. When I saw this bird, the price was great, it was listed as Murano, so it was an easy decision. I have since gained information that leads me to believe that this bird is a Premium Ann Primrose piece. A little disappointing, but the low price of purchase makes it hurt a lot less. I'll keep it for the foreseeable future.
You hit it on the head Deano, it is Primrose. It's a beautiful bird anyone would be proud to display!
