Bought this small pencil drawing in a wood frame the other day. Can not make out the artist name on the bottom right hand corner. Would anybody be able to help with who this artist might be? Last picture is the back and the writing looks like it might be German but I am not sure.

Looks like it came from the Mozart festival in Salzburg Germany Charm. It's dated 1947 but the signature aside from the "H" is illegible. Appears to be a scene from one of his operas. The other writing on the back is probably the title of the aria being performed or even a dedication. The only words I recognize are "mein Leiben" or my love.

Thank you mikelv85 for the extra info. It seems half the mystery is solved. I am going to try and find out who the artist is. Every time I look at the drawing I see something new. Maybe get it re framed.

"Reich mir die Hand, mein Leben", Aria from Don Giovanni :-)

Yeah Kyra .....I was thinking Don Giovanni too. Just didn't want to hazard a guess. So the aria translates to...."give me your hand my love" or something like that.
