An old Hand Forged Cast Iron 2 1/2 wide padlock. This piece does have markings on the front tough to make up but it looks like FIGHT LEV. I'm hoping a lock expert could share some knowledge on this period or type of lock or any other further infomation.

Well I Figured out it reads Eight Lever Just don't know the Maker.

I think that if they took the effort to put Eight Lever on it, they would have put their name on it.
It looks to me like this has an artificial aging to it, as in a more recent lock.

Hi, the lock is a Zeni, its an eight lever version of the more common six lever version.
Not sure of the exact age, I do believe it is between the wars, but I could be mistaken.

      regards

      Duncan
