    Picked this up yesterday at the flea market. It is a stamped metal social security card. It is still fully legible looks to be bronze or a brass mixture, very rigid and dull finish. I remember laminating my card at the bus station. I still have it.

      Cad, you aren't supposed to laminate your SS card. Penalty is probably water-boarding !! Play safe & keep your finger nails trimmed real close too ! LOL!!
