Small pocket knife. Blade is made of silver. It has a crown, lion, C and AS on the blade. Not sure the year this was made. It needs a good cleaning as you can see.

The crown indicates that the knife was made in Sheffield, England. The "lion passant" means that the blade is Sterling Silver. There are a dozen different "C" marks in many fonts. A clearer picture of the mark will allow dating to the exact year of production. Rub the blade gently with silver polish (NOT scouring powder or steel wool) or a polishing cloth, and re-post the pic.
Makers mark is for Arthur Worral Stanisforth.

So we can extrapolate that the date mark is for 1895 at the earliest, and possibly for 1919 too.
Cheers, Bob.
