    I think this Canadian large cent was cleaned (fairly harshly,) but it displays well in my collection.
    I paid a dollar. It should be worth two. It's still a neat, large WW1-era coin with George V on it.

      Nope they have only stopped making the penny in Canada. You can still use old Canadian currency. Used an old $50 bill the other day in the store.

      I still have some of my old Canadian Pennies here -- from 1921, and 1922 etc. I saved some when they did away with them a few years ago.
