Whats wrong with me? I started yet another collection: victorian horseshoe jewelry!
This tiny brooch is 925 silver, it has a makers mark for S Ward and Sons, and it was made in Chester, england in 1907.
Its nothing special, but still a nice add to my growing collection ;-)
It has a c-clasp and a tube hinge.
It depicts a horseshoe between some ivy leaves. Ivy was the sign of wedded love, affection, friendship and fidelity in victorian times.
Hope you like it
LOL! The same thing that's wrong with me is wrong with you.....we love our stuff!
Any fine piece found is the excuse for beginning a new collection ;-)
Charming one!
Nice lucky brooch as I wish for you in real life too!
