A few years ago, as a little payment for labour, I was allowed to select a number of books (never specified.)
Well, I picked 3.
And when she saw that I had picked this out of that trailer full, I think she thought me odd.
It's just some old government book of information, right?
Well, there are several maps in there, both of the lower and upper peninsula of my great state-- including 2 railroad maps. It is full of photographs and a few engravings.
It also has much information one would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere.
Facts and figures, 'biographical sketches,' information on how our government is set up, the constitution, companies and schools and prisons, etc.
Over all, a fairly important book.
I'm not sure what it means that the agricultural college has an armory, but in one set of photos it is clearly listed that it has one.
