Art Deco candy tray. It is missing one of the handles. Not sure the year this was made. Anyone have an idea the year this was made? Neat candy tray. Made of metal and bakelite.

Very Nice. I had some of these and mine were made by: GLO-HILL

I know they made many ( not sure if they are the maker of yours ) but they made several types of single and double chrome serving tray in different shapes. Also the handles were made of Bakelite........popular/made around the 1960's era. Glo-Hill was a Canadian company. Here is some info I found on the Net for you [quoted from]:

      http://www.audreywould.com/collections/glo-hill-corporation-and-sleek-vintage-chrome-serving-pieces

"""Glo-Hill Corporation was a Montreal-based manufacturer of high quality stainless steel cutlery, tableware and barware. The company was formed after the Second World War by Leo and Jack Globus, two brothers who had experience in metal working. They were later joined by an older brother, Saul, and by their brother-in-law, Harry Hill. From just a few pieces of cutlery at the outset, the Glo-Hill product line eventually grew to include hundreds of sets and individual pieces that became popular gift items with homemakers from coast to coast in Canada. One of the distinguishing features of Glo-Hill products, apart from their modern, mid-century style, was the use of special plastic handles in various shapes and colors. The handles worked well to offset and complement the plated piece, be it in chrome, silver or gold, and gave it a unique look that was immediately recognizable as Glo-Hill. The company closed its doors in 1978"""

here are some related links with some info/pics on other Glo-Hill things:
