    I found these very heavy iron pigeons or doves. Don't know if they were used as windmill weights or what? They are about 9" from beak to tail. Any ideas on what they are/were used for? The opening under the tail looks like it would accommodate an iron rod of some type. I appreciate any ideas on these. Please feel free to email me at velvet1@arvig.net
