My house was built in 1919 and the lamp hangs in one of the rooms. Under the house I found most of a matching lamp (the lamp itself, and one lens -- so that one is missing the metal cap that sits on top of each lens in this one, and one of the green glass lenses.
I love this but don't know anything about it. Found this website and thought.. Anyone know a maker? Or any place to start? I'd love to find the missing lens for the second lamp but that seems like a tough one...
My initial guess is that this a Markel lighting fixture. They did a lot of Art Deco lighting styles during the period. I would start with a Google search on "Markel deco lighting" and see if you can find this fixture or something similar.
Thank you -- I will spend some time and see if I can find a similar Merkel.
Best looking chandelier I've ever seen,,,,,,ever!
Still loving this! Man, to have a house full of these, with different color shades - Can picture them in ivory, pink, or pale yellow, even a pale blue - how awesome!
