From the 1974 Best of the West Series. These were only made for one years in these boxes.
With the Sheriff Garrett I did something many collectors would find unthinkable. When I bought it all accessories were in sealed bags attached to the sprues and I opened the bags and removed all the accessories from the sprues. Cut down the value a bit but it is a bit more fun to play with when freed Plus it displays better this way.
There is one star left on the sprue. It is a piece of plastic gold.
So glad you have fun with your toys Fort. I know some collectors would call me foolish but I think pristine toys in boxes are a bit sad.
Thank you very much valentino97. In the 3rd photo there is a tint sheriff's star attached to the plastic sprue. It is the near the center of the box bottom.
Thank you very much racer4four. I too find the toys sealed in the boxes/cards a bit sad.
yah know I love these --- when I still have my Marx pieces !!!

The graphics on the box and the almost lifelike paintings on the box, really draw the viewer in. I can see you falling under that spell. I like the man in black at the bank and I bet that bag was full of gold !
Thank you very much Phil. That scoundrel Sam Cobra is a favorite of mine.
