    I found this charm at a sunday market years ago and liked it very much and would like to know more about it I believe it is hand crafted and 1950s vintage-it is gold plated I think & did have tassels hope someone has more knowledge about this cute lantern charm

      I see it as a lantern, but maybe a bird cage charm? Carrying a bird in a cage was a big deal in China at one point in time. Also could be a cricket cage charm.
