This hat was worn by Western Union Messenger Bicyclists in the early 1900's. The sign on the hat is celluloid and to have survived all these years without breaking is quite extrodinary in itself.

My dad delivered telegrams in Pomona as part of Western Union. He new every street from McKinley down to Phillips
I have a Gene Autry Hat he give me in 1952, he used during a show at the New Jersey state fair, also I have a signed color picture of Gene on his hores. this photo is not a copy. Both items are for sale
