Just received this machine and am looking for any info on it possible. Manufacture year ect. It is a montgomery ward/ national model S40. I have everything that came with this machine original, including the user manual. There however is no date in the manual to give me a reference to how old it is.

This Montgomery Wards machine with the circular plate is a National S40. Unusual looking machines, the mechanism under that big round plate is a VS.

I have this same machine but don't have the user manual. Please e-mail if I can somehow get a copy. Walkerpk@aol.com. Searched the net but can't find.

      Thank you!

      Yet more backfilling. :-)
