    Not sure what this is. Came in a box of micrometers so I would assume it is some sort of measuring tool. Turning the black handle rotates the dial. Appreciate any advice.

      Indeed Nicefice. I believe it is commonly used in a drill or drill press if I'm not mistaking.

      Thanks to Nicefice, found out this is a machinist's speed (RPM) indicator. YouTube even has a video of how it works. Thanks, Nicefice, you know your stuff !
