Hello Everybody, I haven't posted anything for awhile, so I thought you might enjoy seeing these.
Lux Clock Company produced several different graphic themed Alarm clocks back in the 1930's. There were several different depictions of an Organ Grinder of the times. Both of these were produced circa 1934 and have an animated feature, where as the "Grinder's" arm rotates turning the crank on the Organ. Both Grinders appear to be similar but sudle graphic changes depict them, along with one having a monkey, the other a bear.
Thanks for looking,
Kerry
Thanks SpiritBear, always very appreciated!!
Thank you very much AnnaB, very appreciated!!
These are amazing, never seen anything like this.
AnnaB, they(Lux) produced several different themes. At the end of Prohibition. the produced a couple men standing next to a beer keg, drinking beer, one man's arm raises the mug to his mouth as the seconds click off. They continued producing animated alarm clock up into the 1980's under the new ownership...Robert Shaw

your welcome Kerry!!
Love these two Kerry!
Love the "deco" design of these Kerry and the faces add a touch of whimsy. The art work and especially the monkey remind me of the "Curious George" illustrations. :)
