My Mothers Parents Moved into a Old abandonded Gold Mining Cabin in about 1940 Way up at the End of Forest Creek Road here in Southern Oregon. that is where this old Rocker was found. Mom said it was Just left in there by someone before So they kept it all those Years. It was handed down to Me about 20 Years ago. It is very sturdy and feels good to sit in. It has never been Refinished in any way since We Have Had it. It is in very good condition. There is one small Piece broken off the Back. It could be re attached very easely by some one who knows what they are doing. It appears that this Old Chair has Claw Handles/arm rest. any one have any Ideas on that.?
Did you ever find anything out about this rocker? I have one almost identical that was handed down from my GREAT grandma but the back is carved. It's beautiful
Yes Your Rocker is Very Beautifull. and so very similar to Mine. I wish I could find out some Info on Mine. But I have found Nothing.
