    I have a Chinese trunk. Don't know much about it.
    I purchased from a gentleman who got in the last world war along with two rice buckets.
    I can take more pictures if needed.

      Interesting trunk, very nice looking. I had questions about a piece once that had some Chinese writing in it. Take a photo with your phone of several different sections of the writing (close ups) The next time you are near a Chinese restaurant ask one of the employees (if they appear to be Chinese of course) what the writing says. From the information you get you my be able to get a date of manufacture. I would also consult dealers in Chinese antiques. Hope this helps.
