    Not 100% sure what this could have been used for. Found it in an old rock fence. It wasn't stuck in the ground. It was just laying in between the layers of rock as if it was misplaced or left behind. Seems very old. Very heavy. Appears to have been tapered to a chisel-like end, but the tip is broken off. 10-12" in length.

      Since it was in the rock fence, I think it was used as a chisel to break off pieces of rock to make the rock fit in the fence as they built the rock fence. It looks as if it has been hammered on.
