Rare Bronze Mascotte "Ailes Chimere" Small 145mm
Apart from this one example I have not been able to locate one from the internet. There is a book called "Mascottes Fantaisies de 1910 a 1953," which is a book on french catalog pages of mascots which shows an example of these wings. I did not include the mascot page as it was done sometime in the 90's and is made up of really bad 4th generation photocopied images, although he is a world expert.
I got the wooden base out and threw it away, as it was a very poorly made one. I hope someday to get the bolt out and use it in unison with some other mascot. The wings have a beautiful curl to them.
Have never seen another for sale or not pictured in a book. Wish mine never had a broken top feather, but you have to take them as you find them, when they don't come up for auction. This one I purchased from France, where I find all the best French mascots.
Those are a work of art for sure.
Thanks AzTom, a great way to describe it.
Another French beauty ;-)
Fantastic!
Thank you for all the love motorheadmn, mikelv85, AmatoorPikr, sklo42, Manikin, and AzTom !~

Only the best! [;>)
Thanks kyratango for the comment :~)
Thank you NevadaBlades for the comment, this one would be so best if it was not with a broken feather. But I guess wings are not easy to manage.
Thanks antiquerose for the nice comment !
Thanks kwqd for the love.
