    its 29 inches long and 22 inches tall. carved out of wood. the spool looking part comes off. not a clue as to what it is or where it came from. any help would be appreciated. email is tandmblagg@yahoo.com

      I'm thinking S. Amer. or possibly Cent. Amer. .Figure reminds me of my ex- mother-in-law.

      I looks like something a weaver would use to take up the cloth coming off the loom, or possibly to dry dyed yarn prior to weaving. It's low enough that it could be used by someone sitting on the ground to work.
