I'm a happy camper! I've been looking a long time for something like this so I can make sense out of all my jewelry. A few days ago, I saw a 1930s wooden one online for a 55.00 Euro starting bid price - uh, no. This one was 12.50 Euro. I still need to vacuum out all the drawers, as some 1960s dirt/fluff is still sitting on the blue velour linings. The liner for the rings is in two halves and removable. There is one drawer for necklaces/bracelets and the rest have the flat velour lining. I gave the drawers a scrub on the outside and gave the wood a big drink of furniture oil.
I looked up Etui Fabriek Mössner N.V Industrieweg 22 in Utrecht and found just about nothing. The factory doesn't appear to exist any longer, and there is next to no information on it aside from a few mentions in the Utrecht newspapers of the 1960s.
Thanks for looking!

Before I knew this was your post, I thought (I do think sometimes) how perfect this Would be for Efesgirl. Perfect, in fact perfectamundo!
Gillian - it certainly is! Tomorrow is clean the drawers/organization day. I have all my cleaning solutions and tools in another multi-drawer storage box plus two more storage drawers which will sit on top of this unit. My workroom looks like who-did-it-and-ran~!
Bonnie you found the perfect organiser! I bet it will be quickly full ;-)
great find!!
Kyra, she's probably already looking for another ! LOL !
Hey blunder...if you're looking for trouble, then you're looking in the right place. (hee hee!) I hope I don't need another one...aaaagh!
:-)))) :-DDDD
It's late and I'm tired, so this doesn't make sense to me, looks like a shutter, lol. I'll look at it again tomorrow with fresh eyes. Glad you found a jewelry organizer you liked, I may need to do that soon! :)
katherine - those are drawers that slide out... :-)))) I hope you got some good sleep.
Ah yes, I see now, thank you! The difference of looking at things when your brain is fatigued, lol. Very nice, Bonnie! :)
Should have taken a photo of the vintage retro dust!
I thought the same thing as Gillian. It was meant to be there for you to find. :) Congrats Bonnie. How exciting!!
