    small oriental cup about 4 inches wide and 2 inches tall. cup is not perfectly round its shape is more like a 3 petaled flower. has mark on bottom. anybody know what the mark says about the cup. also is it a cup or bowl and what would it have been used for. email is tandmblagg@yahoo.com

      Looks a lot like Bizan to me, but I'm no expert. Perhaps one of the Asian peeps will drop a comment on this thread. Good luck with it. :)

      satsuma bizan bowl shimazu an early one the mon is outside the frame something like 1918 the Daimyo used them for bragging rights , but that was before the decine period
