Jeweled & Enamel Tiger Brooch Thrift Shop Find $3.00

I pawed through some boxes again this afternoon and this is one of the things I bought. Three inches long. I also picked out some silver chains, a beautiful, unusual silver ashtray and some other signed jewelry pieces.

When I went to pay for the items some bimbo with a magnifying glass showed up...grrrr. :-\

Yes, I frown on that. These people think they work in Tiffany's and ask stupid prices for items. These shops get everything for FREE, for crying out loud. I saw some Oriental items farther there, in glass cases. One item was priced at $75.00. Exactly the same item can be bought online for $18.00. SMH

She overlooked some pieces of signed jewelry, however, due to a lack of knowledge (karma). I find it amusing when someone is examining a piece of jewelry and doesn't know what it is they are examining. Miss Magnifying Glass didn't look at the ashtray because it's an ashtray. It's fully stamped in three different places.

I'm done complaining now. :-))))
