as i am trawling through the net trying to find more info on my piece i came across this site so thought i would share image and a bit of info for all you cat loversas i am trawling through the net trying to find more info on my piece i came across this site so thought i would share image and a bit of info for all you cat lovers. i have had it confirmed by the national archive.org.uk that my piece is at least 18th century but am waiting to find out if it could be an earlier piece as it was moulded in two pieces so could indicate very early piece all though it looks like damage around the feet it is not. it was once gilded around the feet but due to age and deterioration over time. it has two major rust spots with indicate age.it is a very clean piece for its age any info would be much appreciated hope you enjoy the pics and info signing out dappa....
