    Korczak Ziolkowski began Crazy Horse Mountain Memorial in 1948. It's still not finished nearly 70 years later.

    The postcard, which I believe to be a 1960s (and one of my newest, therefore) postcard, says he brought the shown bulldozer up in 1957.

    He died in 1982, so he will never see it complete.
