This one was an impulsive buy from blurry pics...
IT IS NOT JADE, BUT RARE NATURAL CHRYSOPRASE!
Big beads,7/16" or 12 mm diameter, intense apple green color, it is strange there is a kind of "cup" around the drilled holes.
It had no clasp, but I had one in sterling, French crab hallmark, paste diamonds and synthetic rubies (fluorescent) that flash enough to complement the striking color.
You can see the angled lines characteristics for agate type stones :-)
I think chrysoprase is prettier than jade. This is gorgeous.

Chrysoprase
Thanks Bonnie! I prefer jadeite, but lately discovered the beauty of natural chrysoprase, only knew before the green dyed chalcedony!
Gruff, many thanks :-) I love CW for all new learnings in so many fields :-)
Thank you Karen, Phil, Marga and Aura for your very appreciated loves!!!
LOVE THE GREEN. [;>)
Beautiful colour :-)
This is beautiful kyra and your choice of clasp could not have been better! They belong together ;)
Oh, and I was going to say that maybe that "cup" is intended for the knot to be a bit hidden.
Shareurpassion, thank you! I had the clasp for years, it was too big for other beads, now it is a good marriage :-)
Your idea about the cup is brillant!!! As the silk lost its tense I even not thought about that utility...
Many thanks Nevadablades and Jean for your green appreciation! ;-)
Big collective thanks to all of you, 13 lovers :-)
These are exceptional. So beautiful.
You finished the stones off beautifully with your clasp!
Mudwoman, Karen, thank you both for your kind comments, love too the flashy contrast :-)
I love green of that shade in glass beads, especially since they all look a bit different, the synthetic ruby clasp just seems to make it more modern as women are wearing colors together that pop, and that does that.
Deaton, all beads look all a bit different because they are natural stone, chrysoprase! Thank you for your visit, interest and love :-)
Oh what a stunning necklace, kyratango, seriously stunning, wow! The color of the beads, the craftsmanship, and adding that clasp was a stroke of artistic genius, it is perfect, absolutely perfect. I bow, I bow! :)
Many many thanks for your superlative compliment, dear Katherine!!!
Now you can "un-bow" ;-D
Thank you very much, Radegunder and Martika for your lovely visit!
Ah, my favorite shade of green! It looks so unique with the agate lines. Gorgeous!
Thank you Anna for the gorgeous comment ;-P
Thank you Trey!
