I enjoy listning to great jazzrecords, most of the records from late 1950´s and early 1960´s sound absolutly great, not only the Atlantic label, but most of the other labels from this time, of which i will show a number of different records later in time, there are so many.

    1 st record:
ATL 1377, Charlie Mingus , Oh Yeah, this a truly great record with Mingus, he sings and plays the blues the jazzy way, with some great companians to help getting his very personel message out, sound is superb on this record.
i really enjoy this great music.

    2 nd record:
ATL SD 1474, Nat Adderly live at Memory Lane
a live album when it is best you can hear and smell the atmosfere of the event, its really exiting to listen to the imagnitive and new approch to jazzmusic on this record, i love this record

    3 rd record:
ATL 1311, John Coltrane, Giant Steps.
this is a new step in jazz, John Coltrane experimenting with the possiblities of the tenorsax, his approch takes some time to ajust to, but you hear a new angle almost every time you hear this record, which makes it a journey into onknown country for most listneners.
actualy many records from this time are experiments with new sounds and moods deriving from the oregins of old jazz, and will take time to sink in with the listner

    4 th record:
ATL 1390, The Modern Jazz Quartet, The Comedy
This is an italian comedy derived over the theme of Colombine an Perriot, a story of love and passion, here into music in the way of jazz by the modern jazz quartet, the music conways the struggle of their hopeless love, in new and different way, with atmosferic sounds, rytme dancing, quite new in any way
