The bar is 4 1/5 ft long. It is made so the 2 chains on either side can slide on the bar. There is a clip at the end of each chain which is in an open position. There is a hitch size ball in the center of the bar. It is quite an interesting piece. At first it appears to be some type of hobble. Lol. My sister in law says its part of a scale. The ball seems off center too much for that (to me). IDK!!! Please help me out! What do you know about it. I haven't seen one on the internet.

Really? How does it work? Why is the ball on it instead of it being able to attach to the vehicle?

Looks like a homemade bumper mounted car tow device usually a receiver not ball on the end. The chains act like anti sway bars connected to another bumper. But I could be wrong. :)

Thanks for checking it out. I've been outside trying to take some more pictures of it. I posted them and I would like for you to look at them if you could.
