Picked up this cooler yesterday and was wondering the age of it. Embossed on all sides. No makers name visible. Wondered if possibly angle iron legs were added later. Paint on legs is in better condition than cooler. Thanks in advance. Center hinged lid.

Looks a lot like Emptynet's cooler. Trademark detail appears Canadian, approx mid-late 40's, something like that. Maybe one of our friends up north can weigh in.

      Congratulations on the find.

Thanks Daddy_Nobucks for the follow up comment on this one. I still have my cooler but, I am sorry to say that I have not learned any new information regarding its origin. I showed pictures to several local people in the know and one person stated that they saw a similar cooler for sale in Brimfield, MA during the yearly antique show there.

RelicRelic, if you happen find out any information please post it here, I would greatly appreciate any insight that I can get on the item.

My best guess is that it is manufactured by a Canadian company or a company in the New England area? I say this due to the fact that I have heard of three in this area since I picked mine up.

      Good luck and happy hunting.
