Steel Bench

I picked up the bench from a yard sale. It's steel. I would love to know more about it. I've never seen another one like it. We had it powder coated and the man who removed the paint said he felt it was quite old. He removed layer after layer of paint. The photo where the bench is purple is what it looked like when we picked it up. The best the man us that sand blasted it could tell us ...is the original color was a yellow or a green. He said he's done 1,000 of gliders and never seen a piece like this. I would love any information anyone could give me about it!
