Almost unbelievably I came across this on the same day as the orange one posted previously. This one too is is of a finer quality than the ones collected previously. This one is satin glass with very glossy paint/enamel and a finely decorated top.
I assume that these date to the flurry of interest in all things Egyptian after the opening of Tutankhamen's tomb in 1922.
The final picture shows the new ones with the best of the existing ones.
You have something special here!! Love theme and color!!
I appreciate the comment, SEAN, especially in the light of your collection!
Very nice grouping Peggy, i do love this a lot.
Thanks for sharing those beauty.
Regards
Alan
Looks too nice to use. [;>)
Than you, Alan, for giving me some of your time. I collect this because I love the idea that it was meant for household use.....nothing special at all!
You are welcome Peggy
Maybe like you mention nothing in your eyes are special, but still very attractive piece for me, and beautifully decorated.
Regards
Alan
Hi, NevadaBlades, I'd agree with you and the latest two haven't a mark on them. That said when we buy plates, mugs etc. even with a trendy design we'd use them. Perhaps they were gifts, but not to the taste of the recipient!!!
Alan, I meant that at the time, 1920's, they were just kitchen equipment, meant for everyday use. I should be more clear and not think you are a mind reader :)
Beautiful pieces Sklo love the colors and the design, I have a small Nippon vase with the same camel theme. As you say it was all the craze back then. :)

I really love this set. Beautiful!!!
mikelv, thank you for posting your lovely vase, which I hadn't seen before as back in the day I never looked beyond the glass. Also it probably answers Karen's question from my previous post!
Many thanks, Karen and EZa, you both know how to make a person smile :)
To you kind people who looked, then liked or loved what you saw, many thanks.
OMG, this one ticks so many of my boxes:) Your photos are great, you can see its quality. I bet it looks amazing in real life.
Thanks so much, Fran, it's a favourite of mine too :)
