Oil Painting, Mexican Man~Signature a puzzle

Hello, sorry it's been so long.
I've been having a bit of a dry spell lately, have found some nice things but few and far between. This was a buy of desperation, pickin's were slim, and my dollars were burning a hole in my pocket. The fact that it was an original painting was good, the brushstrokes are bold and accomplished, and it's a nicely prepared panel,...... probably dates from the 70's or so. Try as I might I can't break the code of that passionate signature.
I'm hoping someone might have a clue.
