We got these two beautiful original Bennett/Sinclair pumps a while back but didn't have the globes for them until today. Amazing to find three Bennett pumps the same models all advertising Sinclair gas and all coming from this general area. The signs have come from all over the Country and so did the antique cars in the Station. The little Bede 5J plane (a real jet plane) came from Idaho Falls. The fun was in the hunt! Come visit the free Museum in Provo Ut.

Doing good R.T.. Wondering where you were ? Bede was a bit of "fluff" but cute. What was the range on it ?

      Blunderbuss2,
I have no idea as you'd have to be nuts to fly one of those things. The planes actually are said to fly and handle pretty well with some "fine tuning", but the landing of them has cost a lot of lives. U notice ours is safely mounted on a building and not on a Tarmac.

      Blunderbuss2,
We're actually on vacation in Hawaii & it was my son that put the 3 globes on the Bennett pumps. I've been busy calling everybody I know with signs as we are looking for another 10-12 to put on poles & no one is selling. It's a dry year so far for us & the hunting is so Sparce that it takes the fun out. Hunting not so fun when we get skunked!

There are a lot of nuts in our aviation field who play with dangerous merde like this, thinking that it's cool. I've been involved in some nut-so aviation things, but put my foot down to putting wings on tennis balls . Of course progress requires experimentation & risk. Fine: As long as my name isn't in the logbooks !! LOL !

      A vacation sounds like a good idea ! Now ! Where do I go for a vacation from St. Maarten/St. Martin ? Pittsburgh ! Brownsville ! K.C. ! Detroit ! Muskegon ! Think I will go with Brussels .

Outstanding display. Surely your place is very famous!

      Racer4four,
Actually I'm amazed at how it's not really famous? A free museum with all cool stuff open 9-6, six days a week and next door to Utah Lake State Park & boat harbor? We get lots of visitors but not what you'd think? Very interesting.

      Blunderbuss2,
With u its about the timing for a vacation. U go during Hurricane season as one approaches. Where is less impt than when! We actually live in Kauai about 1/2 the year but I have to back to Utah to do my Collecting for the museum and enjoy the cool stuff. I just love this hobby & the people in it.

Is that the same style plane in the James Bond movie?
    16. Rattletrap Rattletrap, 9 years ago
      Trey,
Yes it is the very same except the one in the Bond movie actually had fold up wings & it really did fly thru the barn! Those were not trick photos! These little Bede 5js fly at abt 325 mph and are quite the planes to watch. U can see them fly on utube at shows. Bud Lite has a couple.
