    Lovely examples of sterling overlay (coral and dark green spheres) and sterling deposit hatpins. Sterling overlay is sterling silver worked into a design and then laid over the base, be it glass or porcelain. Sterling deposit is a liquid silver which is painted into a freehand design over glass.
