A lovely silver and moonstone brooch with leaves and vines. I was lucky enough to find recently. I'm thinking this one has to be Dorrie Nossiter, as it's characteristic of her designs.

Looks like cluster of grapes with grape leaf and tendril inside a grapevine wreath.....the moonstones are nice but green or purple stones would carry the grapevine theme a bit better. An interesting design!

Watchsearcher - I urge you to do some research on Doris Nossiter. Find out who she was before you make statements like "...the moonstones are nice but green or purple stones would carry the grapevine theme a bit better. An interesting design!"

This a particularly great link for English Sterling comparables by Nossiter:

Gillian, thank you for those links to Doris Nossiter jewelry. I see she did beautiful work and it is quite expensive!
The text with this post did not indicate for certain if this brooch is her work; it is stated as if it could be hers, it’s done in her style.
And even it it is found to be her work, that is great for the owner of the brooch!
However, each observer is entitled to opinions. I, personally, have never seen a grape that is luminous white.
My comment was strictly an opinion and was not meant to insult the brooch or, potentially, a famous designer of jewelry.
But this scolding and my reading up on Ms. Nossiter and her jewelry still does not change my mind that a stone more closely related to the color of a grape would make sense with the rest of the design of this brooch.
I’m offended by your response to my perfectly benign comment to the brooch owner!

Your brooch is definitely Dorrie Nossiter, the above link is my Dorrie Nossiter brooch, has you can see both brooches are very similar and typical of her work.
