I have a few early skateboards. This Mustang Roller Derby No 15 is showing some heavy wear, but remarkably it still has its original factory paper inspection tag on the bottom. The inspector number is not legible, but the rest of it reads:
"__#? Boards are inspected before leaving factory. Wheel assemblies are assembled with double race ball bearings held in place by a cone and axel nut. It is the re-sponsibility of the consumer to keep all nuts tight so that you do not lose the ball bearings."
