    Could someone tell me if this DIXON piece is a relative of NC N.H. DIXON, maker of beautiful jugs and crockery? Beautiful cobalt insect "crawling" around the interior, very well crafted and weighty. Stoneware of vintage age? Older? Newer? Thank You! V76

      yes! Me too, it actually has little " antennae" as if it is slowly crawling around, getting longer and larger...the sense of movement is masterful!
