      I wish you could out today and buy a magazine that featured The Monkees, the Who, the Bee Gees, Canned Heat, Leonard Nimoy AND Sally Field. So tell us, what was the Cowsills' Catastrophe?

      It seems they put all of their money into equipment before they had contracts. They had to chop up furniture to burn during a really cold winter. And one of the boys had a pet monkey that froze to death in the house! (He is buried on the property). Then they went to New York and were able to save their family home.

      ...and as far as getting a magazine with all those people today... you can! courtesy of AARP ! LOL
